WELCOME TO ZENZELA DISABILITY CONSULTING

Striving to bridge the gap between employment and disability through early intervention, medico legal consulting, functional capacity evaluations and the promotion of employment equity in the business world

Welcome to Zenzela Disability Consulting

ABOUT US

Zenzela Disability Consulting was established in 2007. Its conception was the effort of a young Occupational Therapist Farzana Gattoo, having worked in the field of disability since 2002 and eager to make a difference in the world of disability.

With the growth in the scope of Zenzela, additional occupational therapists were brought on board to meet her vision. Today, Zenzela provides consultant services to the insurance industry, the Road Accident Fund and corporates seeking solutions to disability equity.

In addition to these consulting services, Zenzela recognises the importance of intervention and offers case management and paediatric therapeutic intervention.

Having consulted with persons from varied socio-economic backgrounds that are typical of South Africa; with a variety of impairments; our understanding of disability encompasses physical impairments, mental or cognitive impairments, and emotional or psychological impairments. We are thus able to confidently understand impairment and disability as it applies in varied contexts.

Our work ethic dictates that we apply our skills and knowledge to fairly and objectively recommend solutions. We value our clientele and excellent service delivery is the key to maintaining our position in the fields that we service.

Our vision is to apply our knowledge and understanding of vocation/occupation in an effort to bridge the gap between disability and employability/functionality.

Disability is a matter of perception. If you can do just one thing well, you're needed by someone.
